Launching the career of a yogi MC

Robin has produced hundreds of songs and albums with artists around the world.

One particular artist he produced, MC Yogi, caught the eye of Barack Obama's first presidential campaign, which led to a Starbucks commercial, and continues to make a name as an inspirational touring act.

Robin and his team at Ursa Minor Arts & Media, including animator James Curtis of Sacramento, production house Long Life Friendship Society and Samplistic Media worked with MC Yogi to produce viral videos that kickstarted his musical career, including a commercial for Starbucks. Robin went on to travel to India and beyond producing with his long-time friend and yoga teacher, and they continue to make music to this day.

CropMobster Community Exchange

CropMobster Community Exchange (2012-2020) was a pioneering local food system exchange platform that inspired the world to advance online solutions for localized food security

The grassroots effort, led by Nick Papadopoulos, garnered global press and became a model for other food security platforms around the world.

Robin and Stonebridge Creative led teams that redesigned the platform and unified existing localized networks in Sacramento, Merced and the Bay Area into a single platform that covered the entire state of California. Robin mentored University students to create impactful social media content that grew the user base and exemplified community participation. This statewide effort
reinvented local food economies.

The revolutionary platform:

  • Generated millions of dollars for local farmers and food systems

  • Recovered millions of pounds of potential food waste

  • Inspired the world to utilize technology and community-building for food security

"This week, thanks to CropMobster, nine families and an entire preschool were fed super affordable delicious organic produce. Somehow everyone came out ahead. Thanks CropMobster for inventing a new economy!"

          — Nathan F.

"We were able to get everything we needed at Roseland Creek Elementary school garden – over 500 plant and veggie starts from a local nursery."

          — Gioia G.

"CropMobster is an amazing creation, and we have been using it on Fridays to help us responsibly donate our leftovers. It’s super easy to use and incredibly efficient."

          — Tahnee, Good Eggs

When disaster strikes, Community is all we have.

When the Tubbs Fire tore through Sonoma County in October 2017, thousands of homes were destroyed and 22 lives were lost. Rebuilding this community would take a massive effort.

That's when Robin partnered with Sonoma County Supervisor James Gore to create videos and social content to inspire the community to come together and Get **it Done. The videos were used as a model for County Supervisors across the state as examples of a coordinated community response to wildfire disasters.
